10 Movie Halloween Looks
7. Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice. Winona Ryder’s performance as moping goth teenage Lydia Deetz is still a fan favourite after nearly 24 years. Her standout look from the film is the bright red lace dress from the scary ‘wedding scene’. To achieve her look, put half your hair in a high ponytail and backcomb ‘til it’s poofy and matted. Leave the bottom half of your hair frizzy and unstyled. For those signature Lydia Deetz bangs (or fringe), use styling gel to pull sections of your hair into little points. For the makeup, powder the face and use red, brown and black eyeshadows to create a haphazard ‘undead’ and bruised look around the eyes.
