I first went to Anita Cox somewhat nervously, as I had always gone to very expensive central London hairdresser until a career change meant I had to cut spending!I have since been back over many months, and the cuts especially are brilliant. Mine is better than I ever got for twice the price in Mayfair - much younger and trendier, and a whole lot easier to style. I saw Natasha, who really listened to what I wanted, and gave me a cut that's perfect for me.The colour service has been solid and I am especially grateful that they make an effort to do long-lasting highlights that grow out naturally and need touchups less often, However, I would say that the expensive salons remain the places to get truly outstanding colour. My colour is still nice and gets compliments, but it's gone from being a very natural-looking blonde to a 'great set of highlights' blonde.and I'm considering returning to my old salon once or twice a year to get a full colour refresh, then getting top-ups here.Finally the wash was great (some of the juniors give brilliant head massages), blow dries are great, and the salon itself is nicely fitted out, with the friendly staff kept me well-stocked with tea and biscuits : )I definitely recommend Anita Cox, especially if you are looking for value for money and a Mayfair-style cut without the Mayfair-style prices!
