Hello, I am the owner of Aura and would like to take this opportunity to firstly apologise for the problem but also to correct some issues seeing as that this review will stay here, I feel its necessary. I, as the one who booked your appointment always referred to the 'make up artist' when I spoke to you and the fact that I was on holiday made no change to your appointment. The make up artist was given all the correct details for your appointment. I made sure you gave me an exact time to start the appointments, as when you were booking you were a bit vague. Obviously I needed to make sure we were to start on an agreed time and you were given an appointment card. You also spoke directly with the make up artist and confirmed times etc. The 'make up artist' was there ready and waiting but you did not show up for an hour and 15 mins. I also informed you that it was normally her day off and that she would be coming in especially for you and your bridal party. Unfortunately, the make up artist left assuming that you were not coming as there had been no phone call to explain that you were running late. However, she did wait over an hour for you but had other clients. Im truly am sorry that this happened on your wedding day as it must have been frustrating but we were there on the correct day and time, unfortunately you were not and didnt inform us why. I do not wish this to turn into a debate, however I do not agree with your statement of events and am simply stating ours Regards

This salon completely let me down on my wedding day. Their poor between staff communication led to me and my bridesmaids not having our wedding make-up done. Plus to add insult to injury the receptionist was rude, unprofessional, unsympathetic and demonstrated very poor customer service
