I booked my friend for a manicure which peeled off the following day. Since she had been sitting in a hotel since the manicure we knew it wasn't due to anything manual she had done. Usually I would have just put it down to one of those things but as she was getting married I called the salon to ask if they would repaint her nails.I spoke to Hayley who, although polite, was completely unsympathetic and insisted that the cause of the nails peeling was down to something my friend had done. I asked if she would would consider fixing her nails as she was due to be married in a few hours. Hayley would only do so if we paid to have it done. I tried to appeal to Hayley that it was her wedding day but she would even consider doing it.I feel that the customer service in this instance was poor, nails do chip and peel but this situation could have been rectified quite easily and we would have left with a postitive impression of the customer care that had been displayed. Unfortunately this was not the case and we were left with badly applied nail polish, poor customer service and no satisfaction.
