I seem to be getting addicted to this salon. So far I've had 4 sessions of microdermabrasion, 2 skin peels and 2 sessions of IPL on my underarms.The treatment rooms are very white, with accents of fluorescent green. The rooms look and feel very clinical, although that's not surprising as it is advertised as a medi-spa, so I wouldn't expect it to be relaxing. It's handy as it's in House of Fraser in the Oracle shopping centre although the exact location of the clinic is a bit bizarre as it's hidden away at the back of menswear. My favourite treatment is the microdermabrasion. They use the medical grade crystals, but I haven't found that harsh. Last time I nearly fell asleep during the microdermabrasion treatment. My skin is so smooth at the moment and looks so much brighter. I've had compliments about how "fresh" I look at the moment, which is nice. I've also had two light skin peels, the first one was very mild, the second one was quite a bit stronger and I did peel quite a bit from the second day. I've had 2 sessions of IPL, it was very professionally and clinically done although I will need a few more sessions to see results. They always seem to have offers on, so it's possible to get a good deal. The only things I would change would be (a) some blankets or duvets would be nice as it can get cool with the air conditioning and (b) less of the hard sell at the end of the treatment please as it sours an otherwise fantastic experience.
