Unless you are a very strong willed person I would avoid Doubletake! This place to me seems to be a bit of a scam! The prices of the pictures is just ridiculous and nobody on a regular budget would be able to buy the ones that they try to push you into! If you want to go and just get one or two pictures forget it, they almost hold you hostage until you buy more and offer you all sorts of credit options and offers in order to part you from your cash. I can see that many people would just cave in and buy pretty mediocre prints and a extortionate price just to get out of there and away from their pressure tactics.Equally they do their very best to try to get you to give over numbers of people they can call and if you give enough they will give you a bottle of bubbly! Don’t do it, this sort of marketing should be illegal.The quality of the makeover is pretty poor, I was really unhappy with my make up that was way too heavy and made my eyes look really small.I have always had small eyes but when I had my wedding make up done the lady made them look really big and I wanted to get that look again and had been very excited about having a one to one with a professional make up artist in the hope that she would teach me how to do it myself but they looked even smaller when she did them and put on so much eye liner it just looked silly.To be fair the actually photographs did look pretty stunning but it really was over kill on the make up.The hair cut was fairly decent but they put so much hair spray on my normally shiny hair really did not look its best on the pictures, they were OK but I am pretty sure that I could have made myself look a lot more attractive.I think all this company is really about is getting as much money out of you as they possibly can and offering you silly deals they do not mention on the phone to try to get you to rope all of your friends in too. It’s a shame really because it could be a really great experience instead you just end up coming away with a bad taste in your mouth and a very depleted bank account.
