Dove Spa City

I was really surprised to find a city branch of dove spa, so when I did, I decided to treat myself to the Enlighten Body Detox package. I work locally so the spa was really convenient to get to, and as they are open late, perfect for an after work pick-me-up. Which is exactly what I had. The lady that made my appointment over the phone was lovely but a little confused as to what treatment I was supposed to have, as when I arrived I realised I had been booked in for a facial! My therapist was lovely and quickly prepared a treatment room for the wrap instead and I was not kept waiting for long. The spa was smaller than I expected, with a few basic treatment rooms downstairs which did the job. This is not the most luxurious spa compared to others I've been to in the city but the products used are good quality and the treatment great value. The treatment itself was very surprising, a invigorating full body exfoliation and a relaxing body wrap topped off with a gorgeous mini facial. The combination of cold tingling gel in the wrap followed by a hot shower was actually very effective. It was all over a little too quickly but my skin looked and felt much refreshed by the end of the session. The staff were friendly and helpful, my therapist made me feel very at ease and was happy to recommend products and tell me about other treatments without the hard sell. I would definitely go again.
