A disappointing experience. Back massage was decent, however lower back was missed. The manicure was simply terrible. A rough nail file was used for natural nails damaging them and making them uneven. A smooth file should have been used for natural nails, rough ones are designated for gel and other thick nails. I ended up with nails of various shapes and sizes. I came with nice long nails and left with some filed short while some were left long, all wonky and rough. That was when shaping was completed and the beautician moved to painting the nails. No cuticle removal or moisturising was done. The painting was just as bad, 2/3 of each nail was painted. At this point I decided to stop the madness. I heard no apology, just excuses that the light is bad. I felt obliged to remind them arrangement of suitable light is their responsibility and they should not offer treatments they cannot execute. Then the beautician admitted she forgot her contact lenses. At this point things reached a level of ridicule. Truly unacceptable behaviour. Proceeding to treat a customer to a manicure without being able to see properly. I did receive a voucher, however that only replaces the treatment I have not received. It does not make up for the time I wasted, the damage done to my nails, the fact that I now have to find time in my schedule to fix the nails myself, and the unpleasantness of it all. Spa facilities themselves were originally great, however they are now worn out and require maintenance. Shower in the ladies changing room was unstable and switching between warm and hot.
