About Grayshott Spa
My wife and I arrived at the Grayshott Spa on a cold and dark winter day in January after leaving (certain amount of presuading involved) in-laws to look our two children so we could have our first break together without the children for 3 years.....As soon as you walk through the door the relaxed and calm atmosphere hits you like a soft feather pillow and it feels fantastic. After being given a very friendly tour of the hotel by one of the staff we were shown to our room which was a beautiful suite with great views over the grounds and had a wonderful bathroom with a rainhead shower and different types of soaps, lotions. I must say I am not normally into that kind of thing but it seems that you sort of get caught up in the wonderful relaxed atmosphere and find yourself having long showers and applying different smelling lotions all the time.It was my first time at a Spa so I was a little anxious about the dress code and if i could walk about in the towelling robe and slippers they provide but everything was so relaxed and easy I didn't have to worry as breakfast and lunch were a casual affair and if you wanted you could turn up in your robe and for dinner I wore Jeans and a t-shirt without feeling underdressed. The food was very impressive and the combinations of flavours were beautiful as you could taste every herb and spice. The whole experience was fantastic and after just two days which was sadly how long it lasted I felt fully refreshed and ready for the next three years until our next break without the children......
