Hairjes

Really did not want to write this review especially because I had a generally alright experience. I came in today for a wash, blow dry and gloss. I got convinced to do a root touch up and went for it. When asked what I’d like in terms of the blow out, I specified big curly hair with lots of volume. I was nervous whilst he was curling my hair as I’ve had my hair blown out many times and his technique was different but he assured me this will last longer than the technique I have had in the past and I said that’s fine. Not even 3 hours later my hair was not only flat but my hair looked stringy and there was not one curl left. I was very upset considering I spend over £200 on this. I called the salon and expressed how upset I was over this situation and how I’d like to receive a partial refund. He told me he actually undercharged me as he usually charges £300+ for what I asked for. He offered to fix it however I had this hair done for my mothers birthday and I don’t have the time to come back and the fact that they couldn’t even come to a reasonable agreement was genuinely shocking. I never complain about things like this nor was I expecting to be reimbursed fully as i completely understood how Much time he had spent. Really upset and feel really really annoyed that I even came into that place. I will upload a picture below to show you how my hair looked after 3 hours.

I am always going to Zizi Beauty, which is in the Hairjes Salon, to have waxing and eyelash tinting done. I am always happy with the result.There is always a welcoming atmosphere.

I had my hair done for a special occasion at Hairjes. I took in a photo of the hair up style that I wanted. The result was even better than the picture. The compliments I got that evening about my hair, made me feel great. I have found my new local hairdresser. Thank you so much Erkan for your brilliant work and great advice. Rebecca

everybody does great blowdry but Erkan is the fast one if you need a quick blow dry or hair up. I found them trough a friend when I needed a colour correction after a messy job from a salon I got with group on offer.
