Jessie's Salon

The salon is amazing. Jessie does my hair and my husband’s hair. She is very positive and talented at hair styling. She also runs the salon, and does a great job! All of the girls that work here are super friendly and kind. The atmosphere is comfortable and easy-going.

I found this place by searching for salons near my house in NW Reno. I was surprised I've never heard of it because it's so close to me and has great reviews! I called on a Saturday and got an appointment for Monday morning. I appreciated that you can make an appointment just a couple of days in advance and that they aren't booked super far out. They even take walk ins too! I was randomly assigned to Jessie as my stylist when I made my appointment and I loved her! She was so friendly and easy to talk to, we chatted the entire time I was there. I had my baby with me and she cried a few times during my appointment but all the staff had no problem at all with her being there. They were all so sweet and loved asking about my baby! I just wanted a few inches trimmed off my hair today, which is pretty straightforward but you'd be surprised at how other salons have still messed that up. I explained how I prefer to have everything be one length and for it all to look even when my hair lays in front of my shoulders. Jessie showed me what 3-4 inches off would look like before she started cutting and we agreed on my desired length. She explained what she was doing throughout the appointment and checked in regularly to make sure I liked the length and how the hair fell around my shoulders. She did an excellent job and it's exactly what I wanted! I was a big fan of this salon! They have some chairs for waiting but I got taken back right when I arrived for my appointment time. The stations are clean and the interior is spacious. They even have a little coffee station if you want something to drink while there. Plenty of parking outside since it's in a strip mall. Prices are really affordable, my haircut was $26 before tip. All the stylists seem friendly and professional. I definitely plan on coming back to see Jessie again next time I need another haircut!
