Light Centre

Tucked away in a quiet street of Belgravia the Light Centre provides a great range of quality Yoga and Pilates classes for reasonable prices. I had known the centre for a few years, but decided to try one of their classes after I found out that Alan Herdman had held a workshop there.My first class was a lunchtime Vinyasa Flow Yoga class. It was great! Katie, the teacher was very knowledgeable and the class was energetic and had a choreography that was challenging but also easy to follow.The class was beautifully instructed, and it was designed to build up your strength and yet stretching every inch of your body. I was left sweaty, energized, stretched and happy.I had decided to go to the class as I was going through a phase of insomnia, and I was desperate to get back into a sort of normal sleep pattern. And to my amazement it really helped! I felt much more relaxed and a huge release of positive endorphin took over my body. I felt sleepy unusually early that night and enjoyed a long restorative and very much needed night of sleep for the first time in ages. So, a big thank you Katie.
