Lucid Salon

I came in yesterday for the first time. I had an issue with my hair color I was feeling self conscious about. I saw Brandi Romero, and she had me leaving looking so good. She spent a decent chunk of time and attention fixing my hair, and I’m very happy with it. My end result was exactly what I wanted, and the whole salon experience was very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

I came from out of town unexpectedly for a close family member's funeral. I left in such a rush in the evening and drove 9 hours. I left my whole toiletry bag, all the hair things, and everything else one could imagine, at home on my table. The next day, I frantically called all surrounding higher end salons looking for Davines hair products. Why? Because I have super fine thin hair and Davines has been the only product for 10 years that doesn't weigh my hair down, make it greasy after applying, among other reasons. No one had Davines in the joplin/Springfield area. NO ONE. I found Lucid Salon and saw their photos and saw the coveted Davines. I called like a mad woman five times in a row, to no answer. I was almost in a panic and tyring to figure out what would be a comparable product. Then, my phone rang. And it was the owner of Lucid Salon, Annmarie. They verified they had Davines. I asked her for four different products - she had them all. It was a little consolation in a time of sadness and chaos. I asked about a certain type of hairbrush. They don't sell tools, but she offered to pick one up for me, a stranger, someone who isn't a client. I was so grateful and taken aback. She held the products for me and we picked them up about 3-4 hours later, with an amazing hairbrush. Lucid Salon is such a beautiful salon, tucked away in Galloway MO, just on the outskirts of Springfield. Newly opened, modern, bright and open concept, but most noticeable was everyone was so so friendly. I walked in not a stranger, but greeted with open arms and big smiles. Laughter and good conversation. If I lived in the area, that would be my salon, they would be my people, hands down. Thank you for being kind, loving and understanding. Go check them out. Megan is the best stylist ever!!! I have been going to her for years for all different stuff like coloring for my grey hair, hair cuts, special occasions hair styles and even makeup. She is always sweet and bubbly, which I love. But most of all very caring and takes extra care of me with my health issues. She looks at all the ingredients in everything she uses for my allergies. She is just so perfect. I love her so much. Would highly recommend her. Also this salon is very nice, love the decor and the location.
