I was experiencing neck and shoulder pain and decided to visit the Belmar location. I was able to schedule an appointment online right away, which was incredibly convenient. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Monica, the manager, whose friendly and attentive demeanor made a great first impression. My massage therapist, Sheri, was highly skilled and took the time to listen to my concerns. The entire experience was smooth, efficient, and effective. I highly recommend this location to anyone seeking quality care.
I would love to share my past experiences at Massage Envy! I have been a member for years and always enjoyed the therapists expertise and awareness to my specific needs. I have monthly 90 minute sessions and Derrek has been meeting all my needs, I tell him where to focus and I walk out like a "Noodle" Every appointment is better than the last! The entire team is friendly and accomodating.
I strongly advise against signing up for this place. It’s a total waste of both time and money. Reaching the front desk is almost impossible. You’ll spend days just trying to get a simple answer. Even when they finally respond, good luck—there’s no availability to get anything scheduled. I booked a 60-minute facial, but it barely lasted 40 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes early for my 4 pm appointment, didn’t get into the treatment room until after 4, and sat waiting in the lobby with no intake paperwork handed to me, causing further delays. I even overheard my esthetician asking the front desk staff why my paperwork wasn’t completed yet while walking down the hall to retrieve the iPad. When my service finally started, the clock read 4:11, and by the time my facial ended, it was 4:40. When I addressed this with management, they claimed I arrived late—completely untrue. I had been sitting in the lobby for over 10 minutes while the front desk staff chatted about a guy walking by with his dog. My esthetician got only half of my 20% tip because I received half the service. I also tried to transfer my massage appointment to my sister. I called 9 times and left 2 voicemails. I finally got a call back, but I was in a meeting. When I tried to reach them again, no one answered. By the time I finally got through, I was so frustrated, all I wanted to do was cancel my membership. Sam, the assistant manager, is defensive, rude, and unprofessional. When I explained why I wanted to cancel, she didn’t attempt to resolve anything—she just dismissed my concerns. A tip for you, Sam: using terms like “baby doll” and “hunny” doesn’t make your customer service any better. I even contacted corporate, but they were no help either. There are far better places for facials and massages, with far superior customer service. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your time or money here!
