I have struggled with whether to make this review, but they were very adamant about giving a google review so here we go. She was very nice and even offered water as I was leaving. I don’t think this was intentional or malicious in any way. I have pain in my neck that is causing migraines and neck massages were recommended by my physical therapist. Upon arrival I tried to explain the situation and the first woman could not understand what I was saying so she had to get someone else. I again tried to explain my reason for needing the neck massage and was simply offered “pain cream” and asked, “how long?”. I had to pay for the massage, unidentified “pain cream”, card fee ($3) and tip before services were rendered. Once I was settled in, she immediately went into my neck with such force that she was moving me and table. It was very painful and at first, I thought maybe it was normal since my neck was so tight. I tried to politely tell her that it was hurting but unfortunately, I think there was too much of a language barrier because she didn’t stop, and I honestly couldn’t understand most of what she was saying. After my 30-minute massage she abruptly slapped my back and told me she was done. I left in more pain than I went in with. My skin was so tender that I could not touch it for a few days. I now have what looks almost like a chemical burn from her rubbing my neck as well as bruising on my back. I have never experienced this before and I am sure this was just a freak accident; however, I felt it necessary to mention so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Amazing place! So calm. First massage after having my baby. And helped with my c-section scar pain and really focused on the places I needed more focus on. Can't wait to try their sauna! Never going any place else. I found this place on Easter and she was open and OMG worth the stop!!!

I visited this establishment for my birthday (3/19), and my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the door was open, but it appeared they were undergoing renovations, leaving me uncertain if they were open for business. Koozie confirmed they were operating, and we proceeded from there. However, she requested payment upfront before any service was provided, which raised my first concern, as I had never encountered this practice before. The massage itself was far from relaxing; it lacked any proper techniques and felt more like a simple application of oil on my skin. Throughout the session, she continuously engaged me in conversation, and her phone's ringer was set to a loud volume. To my dismay, she even answered a call during the massage. The situation escalated when a worker arrived to perform construction tasks, including sawing and drilling, which completely disrupted the atmosphere. I was frustrated because if she was aware that work would be taking place, she should have informed me beforehand. At the conclusion of the massage, she abruptly slapped my back with considerable force. When it came time to settle the bill, she did not offer any discount despite the lack of relaxation and the overall unpleasant experience, compounded by the construction noise. Additionally, she informed me of a $3.00 fee for card transactions, which I believe is illegal. She caught an attitude with me once she got the receipt paper back and realized I did not tip. Overall, I would rate this experience a 0 out of 10.
