About Roma Salon Torquay
Today I have been saddened by what should have been a delightful trip to the hairdressers. Rob the very talented stylist and owner who can work wonders with a pair of scissors sadly lacks the ability to listen fully to the customer. Consulation and discussion should be such an important part of the experience. After explaining I wanted to change colour for the summer, I was distressed to discover that there was a gross lack of understanding which has resulted in a poor and stripey effect. Even more distressing there is a harsh line of colour at the front of my hair which prevents me from tying my hair back. Having pointed both these matters out and being asked what did I expect!!!, I asked to leave, I paid on my way out, why? because I am not an unpleasant person. Customer satisfaction not necessarily a top priority. Sadly I was unable to contain my tears when getting home and my husband telephoned the salon, spoke to Rob who told my husband that I was a trouble makers who didn't listen to advice and often caused a scene. When being asked to pay £105.00 for a cut and colour, I feel that I am entitled to my opinion and if I leave feeling less than satisfied then the experince is not what it should be. I have never felt the need to leave a review before but was so saddened by my experience today, felt it only right that a consumer be made fully aware of my experince before using the salon.
