Elyse is so kind and caring. She helped me pick out a shade of color that worked well with my hair and complexation. She is a gifted hair designer and a super cool chick! The salon is very nicely appointed, and the staff there was super nice! Totally will recommend to my friends!

Taylor Spence is awesome! She is a breath of fresh air and always has in mind how I can look my best naturally. She does beautiful color and gave me a great cut today that I love. Salon Allure has been the best find in Huntsville for me.

This was my first (and definitely my last time) at this salon. I will start with the small positives. My stylist was sweet and personable. She is good at doing pixie cuts and asymmetrical bobs. I went into the salon for a consultation and then booked an appointment. I requested foils, color, glaze and a cut. Keep in mind my hair on one side is down to my chin, the other side is down to my ear. I was told I would need to pay a deposit to book my first appointment. Okay fine. Wait for it. My estimated cost was $300. I am pretty sure my jaw dropped. They originally tried to book me for a full foil. I quickly pointed out the length of my hair, and that I didn’t need a full highlight. My stylist agreed and changed the booking. Now for the deposit. To book an appointment in advance, I had to pay $263! After you pay the deposit, they email you an itemized receipt after the fact. Apparently, they took it upon themselves to add in a custom conditioning treatment for $21, which I did not ask for, nor did I need. My hair has not been colored since November and was healthy. Fast forward to the day of my appointment. My hair color isn’t perfect and it took two attempts with glazing to correct the highlight color, along with additional coloring on my roots after my hair was washed to blend the highlights better. The total for a color, partial highlight, glaze and cut on hair that is no longer than chin length was $312. Throw in a 20% tip, and my hair cost me $374. I get home and look at my new receipt. I was charged $49 for VISH. What the hell is that? It was not on the receipt when I paid the deposit, and I did not ask for any additional services. You are overpriced and scamming people in my opinion.
