Spa Experience Old Street - Ironmonger Row Baths

Firstly staff on arrival changed my treatment times so I’d get the best out of my facial- not on my request just out of kindness- many thanks. Then a foot treatment by a young woman from New Zealand- really lovely and a lovely chat during treatment. My facial was with Ibolya- exceptional- no doubt she is an incredible therapist in fact if I come back for a facial I will only want to book with her as it was that good. Thank you- a very lovely visit and well worth the cost.

I recently visited the spa at the Ironmonger Row Baths and had a fantastic time. The spa facilities have been refurbished and they’ve been done to an excellent standard which rivals many luxurious spas in the UK. They have a brilliant thermal suite including an excellent cold plunge, which is very invigorating after the Finnish and/or infared sauna. It’s great that the spa has both! The spa is £47 for a 2 hour visit at a weekend and is excellent value considering the quality of the facilities. You could easily spend double this amount for the same experience at a hotel spa. The spa staff are quite strict with the 2 hour limit and during my visit, they came round advising when people’s timeslots were finished. This was a minor downside and is the first time I’ve experienced being requested to leave a spa, but I appreciate it’s perhaps a necessity to avoid overcrowding and an enjoyable experience for the next slot of visitors to keep numbers limited. The only real downside are the very small female changing room areas which can become very crowded in peak times. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit.

She was professional, thorough, and explained every step, which made me feel so comfortable. My skin looks and feels smoother, and the results are noticeable right away. I left feeling refreshed and pampered. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to treat themselves and achieve healthy, radiant skin!
