I can confidently say that this is one of the best hair salons in South London for natural hair and curly hair. The vibes are awesome, my hair always feels and looks great afterwards and the staff are SO lovely and compassionate. They’re now one of my regular stylists for trims and treatments I have colour treated hair and I credit this salon (and another stylist they recommended when they weren’t taking colour appointments temporarily) for reviving my hair Their care tips have helped me so much. I’ve yet to do colour with them, but I have no doubt that it will be a great experience

Afro Hair Girls - Warning I made the mistake of booking my 14 year old in for her hair cut - she had 4A/4B natural hair down her back - I booked with Dillian as usual (he's good) and she was booked with Holly. Holly flagged at the appointment that my daughter had been booked for wash and cut only, I thought stretch has been included, she said she would do the stretch anyway so that was fine. She washed my daughters hair, applied the treatment and then later, blow dried it with an afro pic. She then asked me about the cut and I said it was just a trim. She showed the amount she would take off which was about 2 inches - I agreed. What happened next, we still don't quite know.. what was meant to be a trim ended with my daughter getting her entire hair layered.. her hair was all the same length and she left with some parts 4 inches shorter than other parts as well as her ends all different lengths. I complained once we were home and Floria tried to rectify the situation, when I brought her back a week later. What was shocking is that Holly was present in the salon.. when I arrived I said I was there for Floria.. she laughed, grabbed Floria and said.. "oh is that what this appointment is". Floria gave me the opportunity to leave and go to another salon, it was raining and I said no.. For the duration of our time while my daughter had her hair blow dry and silk pressed, Floria was very attentive and kind - Holly remained the whole time and ignored us both. Not at any point did she offer an apology or explanation for what she did. My daughter knew exactly who had destroyed her hair and I simply cannot imagine behaving in such a disgusting, unprofessional 'mean girl' way in front of a child. Anyone with afro hair should not get a haircut by Holly, only an inexperienced hairdresser would layer Afro hair.. in all honesty she needs training in both cutting hair & customer service. This isn't secondary school... and one bad egg can destroy the reputation of a business. Please see pics - post hair cut in another salon in June 2024 and post Holly 'hair cut' in Dec 2024... think that says it all. Hope this helps to avoid someone else having their hair damaged. I thought about returning to the salon to have Floria check up on her hair progress, but that type of behaviour just isn't something anyone wants to pay money for, this is London, there are options when you will spend £100 for a trim.

Best experience at the hairdresser ever! I put some “before & after” pictures for reference (1+2 “before”, 3 “straight out of the salon”, 4+5 “after”). My hair was dehydrated, heavy, shapeless and in need of some love! I booked a haircut and a treatment with Dillan who with his magic hands brought my hair back to life! Everyone at the salon is so sweet and friendly! I received an amazing hair wash - my scalp has never been this clean! I found my place!
