The Bath House — Banya London

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Returning I had high hopes for a relaxing Sunday at Banya London, but unfortunately, it turned into a stressful and disappointing experience. We ended up spending almost 3 hours sitting in what felt like a gym changing room / kitchen, this is apparently the only waiting area, and there’s no option but to stay there until your massage. It completely kills the idea of a relaxing spa day. The sauna and cold plunge were very ordinary, nothing special or memorable. No steam room available. So basically you pay £200 to just use sauna and cold plunge on repeat for 3 hours. Toilets were dirty, and worse, our towels were taken from our chairs. When we asked for replacements, we were told, “It’s Sunday, we don’t have extra towels.” Seriously? How are we expected to shower? I had booked a 1-hour massage for myself and 30 minutes for my partner, but was informed (last minute) that due to being overbooked, they couldn’t honour the hour-long massage. Again, no solution, just “it’s Sunday.” I said I will not be having this you must find a way to give me the massage I booked and prepaid for so finally they found someone to do it. What was meant to be a calm and special experience for us as a couple turned into a chaotic, poorly managed day. With so many beautiful, professional spas in London, there’s no excuse for this level of service. Banya needs a serious rethink if it wants to compete. We will not be returning.

Once inside and prepped for the sauna, you’re setting up with a seating area so you can refresh between sessions with food and drinks. The baths themselves are really clean and well set up. We took turns between the sauna, plunge pool and under the freezing cold showers. The extreme hot and cold was a totally exhilarating experience, I left so relaxed. The staff were great too!

The idea of sweating & having a drink half-naked 500 metres away from Buckingham Palace was somewhat entertaining too!)))

Banya is an ideal place where u can relax both mentally and physically. The staff is very friendly, the food is incredibly deliciousmost of all I loved the parenie and scrub massage. an ideal place to relax with friends or family, I recommend!!!
