I would not recommend this salon I am a stylist myself so I have a well trained knowledge of a good quality salon experience. Even though the stylist I had was a graduate I have had much much better experiences with other graduate stylists. I was given a simple blow dry which I expected to be glossy nourished and voluminous with bounce. Instead the result was dry looking at the ends drowned in hair spray and poor effort towards styling was made not enough product was used as I asked which is detrimental with my hair type. Also I was asked what drink I would like and asked for coffee which was never brought to me. Sloppy, unprofessional, and poor styling I left disappointed and will not be returning.

I'm only writing this in response to the previous less than favourable review since I had a very pleasing experience at the Dolls House. I had a half price haircut by Ben (I think). He was attentive, had lots of time for me and very sweet. The cut was good and he seemed very proficient. I thought all the other staff were really helpful, friendly and sweet. Personally, I would recommend them.

I visited the Doll's House with my sister on Saturday using vouchers with got in Groupon, I dont usually write reviews but we had such an awful experience I feel like I have to. On our arrival we were made to wait and our stylist didn't realise we were his appointments after walking past us numerous times, even though our appointment was at the same time we only had one stylist which we presume was the junior one. After he told us that our hair was very tick and "course" and we should have advised before arrival! I was taken first and my sister was made to wait one hour, my haircut was faster but my hair was blow dried by another junior then was getting really frustrated and my hair was going bigger and bigger, after 2 hours I told them we had to leave so my sister hair was dried and cut by another stylist in 20 mins, my hair was last finished by yet another stylist. We could have done a better job at home! We would NEVER go back to this salon, we were made to feel like as vouchers holder we were not as important as others full paying clients even thought the offer promised VIP treatment with cakes - both of which we never got!

I love this salon! i go there for both hair and beauty treatments, the staff are lovely and i always feel great once i've been there! would recommend
