The Hair Room

I was initially a little wary of this salon as I rarely see any other customers in there and it's so cheap (£21-ish for a cut&blow dry) but I have been very pleasantly surprised. I've been twice now, and had the best haircuts in ages and saved tons of money. Both times I saw the blonde curly haired lady, and although I don't get the impression that she is confident with her English, she has cut my hair exactly how I asked. Both times she was attentive and thorough, and seemed to take real pride in her work. The salon was quiet (no music) and due to the language barrier there was no smalltalk (a plus in my book actually!) and thus no 'atmosphere' - but this is a hair salon, not a bar.. Well worth the £10-20 difference in price between this and other more buzzy salons nearby and in Wimbledon. Excellent - give it a go!
