The Salon Flyntz

I've just got back from trying to get my 2 1/2 year old son's hair cut at salon flyntz. What a disappointment!!!Not surprisingly, being 2 1/2, my son moved and wriggled around quite a bit. The young girl cutting his hair behaved like a spoilt teenager - tutting and rolling her eyes. She then proceeded to simply thin out my son's hair. After asking for his hair to be cut shorter there was more tutting and lots more excuses - like "I don't want to put him off having his hair cut in the future"I then asked for her to cut it shorter around his ears and she point blank refused saying it was too dangerous. Having got my son home, the hair cut can only be described as shocking. I know cutting a small child's hair can be difficult, but we have had significantly better experiences at other salons and will not be going back to Salon Flyntz ever again.I thought afterwards I should have refused to pay, or asked for someone else to cut my son's hair. Its a shame that you think of these things in the car on the way home, its a shame that you have to think of these things at all.
