About The Tanning Shop Docklands
This is my third visit at the tanning shop. I was hoping to build up a a base tan gradually before going away to avoid getting burnt. Well that plan has just failed. I went in today for my usual five minutes in a sunbed I'd never used before and after about two minutes it was so hot and the glass I was lying on actually became painful - so much so that I had to get out of the bed early. But it wasn't before the who back of me got damaged. I now have a very bad sunburn with odd tanlines on my calves from where my legs pressed into the bed. It looks as if I've spent the whole day in bright sunshine after just five minutes. Clearly their bed needs to be checked and they aren't undergoing the proper maintenance of their equipment. I'm not a newbie tanner. I know how indoor suntanning works and I should not be getting a serious sunburn after five minutes in a bed - especially after having been twice previously in another bed with no problem. And it should not get so hot on the glass that it actually feels like it's burning you. If you know what's good for you do NOT go to this place - it's dangerous and should be shut down. I'm now trying to get my money back, as I've paid in advance for a course of tanning that I no longer plan to use after this experience.
