I’ve been a client here for almost 4 years and would completely recommend this salon to anyone! Morgan C has been my stylist since my first appointment and she has been wonderful. Truly couldn’t live without her! She is SO talented with brunette color and is super detail-oriented with cuts/trims. If you’re new to Denver/Lakewood like I was, this is a great salon to try. Pricing is reasonable, location is easy to access, and staff is always accommodating and friendly.

I couldn't tell in the salon lighting just how yellow my hair still was, but when I got out into natural light it was very obvious. I had asked for a neutral but leaning ash full head of highlights with a light root smudge. The yellow tone is what I left the salon with. I was actually kind of shocked when I saw it in the natural light in my car. I had already walked out and paid and didn't want to deal with another disappointing salon service, so I just decided to fix it myself. Thankfully the people at Sally's gave me some good toner options, so picture number three is what I got it to. Still not perfect but better than it was. Personally though, I feel like I could have gotten this result on my own for far less than $300. My experience with the stylist also left something to be desired. She said very little, which usually I don't mind but it was to the point of being kind of uncomfortable. She wouldn't tell me most of the time when she wanted me to turn my head or something like that, and instead would just lift or turn my head a little too aggressively. I don't know if she might have just been new but she kept knocking me in the head with stuff and sprayed water and soap onto my face, which I don't even think she ended up realizing.

Words cannot describe how happy I've been since going to Union Salon. Christa has worked magic on my hair and brought it back to life! I have very thick hair which can be a lot for stylists to work with. From day one, Christa has understood how to work with my hair type. Not only that, she's never disappointed with how she styles my hair! I trust her opinions and every time, my hair has turned out refreshed and happy.
