Waxing in Caerphilly

Caerphilly Castle is a popular attraction amongst visitors and locals alike. It is the second largest in Britain, spreading out over thirty acres. A dramatic fortress, its tower leans more than Pisa's and is frequented by the ghost of the Green Lady. It was never defeated by the Welsh; it held back Welsh Prince Gruffydd ap Llywelyn with its concentric circle system and impressive water systems. Another interesting place visit is Coed Craig Ruperra, which means ‘the hill of pear trees' and is situated between Newport and Caerphilly. There are some great views of the Severn Channel, as well as footpaths winding up to a hill fort and leading to a ruined castle that appears out of the midst from between the tress.There are a few highly rated pubs and bars in Caerphilly that open for enjoyment such as Angel Inn, The Goodrich Hotel, The Piccadilly Inn, and Bowls Inn. There are a number of primary, secondary, and special schools in the district as well. Some of the primary schools are Twyn Primary School, Plasyfelin Primary, and Hendre Infants School. Some of the secondary schools are St. Ilan School, St. Martin Comprehensive School, and St. Cenydd Comprehensive School.
