The town centre has the main retail shopping area of Rhiw Shopping Centre. Here you will find Bridgend Market, Adare Street, Caroline Street, Queen Street, Market Street and Cheapside. This is the area of the high-end chain stores. There is excellent access to this area by bus and railway. There is only one specific night club in the town centre, Elements, but there are many pubs, bars and restaurants. Quaranta Sei, Zia Nina, Poco Poco, An Khang Restaurant and Saphire Brigend are all great restaurants with varying cuisines and are sprinkled around the CF31. The Five Bells Inn has a good pub on Morfa Street.
