Chadkirk Chapel is a restored 14th century chapel which is set in the heart of the Chadkirk County Estate. Learn about the history of the chapel and its association through legend with the 7th century missionary St. Chad. Reddish Vale Country Park is another great local attraction which offers a wide variety of pursuits for all to enjoy. Trails, bridleways, and cycle routes link the Tame Valley to the Etherow/Goyt Valley and the surrounding area. The Vale has recently been designated as a Local Nature Reserve. In the heart of Stockport there is a Greco-Roman art gallery and war memorial called the Stockport Art Gallery. It contains selected displays from Stockport, with permanent collections of 19th and 20th century paintings and sculptures. Some of the primary schools in the area are Cheadle Primary School, Meadowbank Primary School and Broad Oak Primary School. There are also a number of secondary schools, i.e. The Kingsway School, The Together Trust and Parrs Wood High School.
