Waxing in Edinburgh
Shaving can make hair grow back more quickly and thicker, which makes hair removal time consuming and tiresome where as waxing can last several weeks. There are plenty of places that you can have waxed including eyebrows, legs, arms, underarm, bikini line, upper lip and more. Waxing removes the hair from the root meaning hair will not grow back for somewhere in the region of 2-8 weeks. There are two main types of waxing in the form of strip wax or hot wax. Hot wax involves warm wax being thinly applied to the area. Following this strips of cloth or paper are smoothed over the wax before being quickly removed in the direction of the hair growth. Hot wax is the process by which a large amount of wax is applied to the desired area. Once the wax hardens it is then removed preventing the need for cloth or paper. This tends to be the preferred method for people with sensitive skin. Waxing can be painful for some people.
