Six railway stations serve Hyde, with links to most major British cities. The M67 runs through Hyde and connects to the M60, which then connects you to the rest of England. Hyde's bus station has services to Manchester and other nearby areas. Hyde contains a recently renovated leisure centre containing a large swimming pool and an upstairs gym. This pool also contains a small “village” where guests can buy food and drink. This leisure pool is located on Walker Lane. The pool uses the latest equipment and technology to fully serve its guests.Hyde has its own park, called Hyde Park. The park is located around the River Tame and the Peak Forest Canal. The park is a beautiful, open space filled with lush green. Park Road and Clarendon Road border the park in the city.Hyde is filled with primary and secondary schools, as well as with one vocational school, Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form College, located on Clarendon Road, bordering the park.
