Beauty Salons in West-Kensington

High Street Kensington is probably the main attraction in W14. It is one of the most popular and stylish shopping areas outside of central London. The stores include high street chains, boutiques, antique shops, bars and restaurants. Away from the high street, W14 is known for its independent, local shops. Holland Park, on Abbotsbury Road, is the main green space in the area and is highly popular with locals and visitors due to its relaxed atmosphere and wildlife. The park contains the ruins of Holland House along with its surrounding formal gardens, as well as an area of natural woodland and a sports area. The sports area has facilities such as tennis courts and a cricket pitch. Other attractions include the peacocks that roam the park, an orangery, a tranquil Japanese garden and the open air Holland Park Theatre, who perform plays in the park. Olympia Exhibition Centre on Hammersmith Road, is a hugely popular venue for events. Many events are hosted here regularly, including The Olympia London International Horse Show. The centre first opened in the 19th century, when it was known as the National Agricultural Hall. Queen's Club sports complex was founded in 1886, making it the first multipurpose sports complex in the world. It has 36 tennis courts in total, which includes 8 indoor courts. The centre hosts a number of high profile events, including the British Open. Leighton House Museum on Holland Park showcases the paintings of Lord Leighton, who was an eminent artist during the reign of Queen Victoria. Another attraction to the area is North End Road Market, which is open six days a week. The stalls offer a range of wares, but many specialise in fruit and vegetables. Public transport in the area is very good, with a number of underground stations including West Kensington underground station, which is located on North End Road and operates on the District line. Another is Barons Court underground station, which is located on Palliser Road and runs on the Piccadilly line. Earl's Court underground station on Warwick Road also runs on the Piccadilly line. The nearest overground station is Kensington Olympia Railway Station on Olympia Way. Additionally, a number of bus routes pass through the area.
