One of the interesting, yet informative attractions in Loughborough is the Charnwood Museum located on Granby Street. The museum has four permanent exhibitions themed around the social, architectural, industrial and natural histories of Charnwood. Whatton Gardens is another great place to go if you enjoy beautiful outdoor scenery. It is fifteen acres of formal and informal gardens with interesting and unusual features dating back to the 19th century. Some of these features include spring bulbs, a woodland garden, ornamental ponds, ancient trees, expansive lawns, magnificent herbaceous, border, an old fashioned rose garden and an arboretum. Some of the pubs and bars that Loughborough has to offer are Barley Mow, The Hobgoblin, Maxwell's, The Newshouse, The White Horse, and Warwick Arms. A few of the primary schools located in the LE11 district are Cobden Primary School and Community Centre, Rendell Primary School, and St. Mary's Catholic Primary School. A few of the secondary schools are Loughborough Grammar School, Loughborough High School, and Our Lady's Convent School.
