Bosworth Battlefield is one of the most famous in the history of English political change and is just a few miles away. The battlefield saw the defeat of Richard III by Henry VII, who at that time was Henry Tudor. It is a great family place to visit with its marvellous trees and wonderful plants. The Bedworth Heritage Centre, a piece of architecture which is representative of some of the finest building work that went on in this area of the Midlands, is another great attraction in Nuneaton. The house and almshouses have been converted into a museum that is dedicated to the history of the borough, and it has a large collection of artefacts, maps, and documents.There are a large variety of pubs and bars to accommodate visitors with night life such as The Acorn, The Bulls Head, Lloyds, Kingswood Tavern, and The White Lion. There are a number of primary, secondary, and special schools. Some of the primary schools are Weddington Primary School, St. Joseph's Catholic Junior School, and St. Nicholas CofE (Voluntary Aided) Primary School. Some of the secondary schools are Etone Community School and Technology and Language College, Higham Lane School- a Business and Enterprise College, and Manor Park Community School.
