2: Michelle Pfeiffer as 'Catwoman' in Batman Returns (1992). For her makeup in Catwoman, Michelle Pfeiffer wore a dark, graphic, totally exaggerated – you guessed it – cat eye. You can achieve a similar effect with a black eye pencil. Try drawing the ‘points’ of the cat eye first, so you can start close to the eye and smoke the pencil out in a way that’s flattering to your features. To achieve more depth and texture, powder over the top of the pencil with MAC’s Carbon eyeshadow. Pfeiffer’s skin was kept very matte and powdery (in keeping with the tradition of the spooky ‘beauty’ look of Tim Burton movies), so a full coverage foundation with a powder on top to finish may be necessary. For the lips, try YSL’s glossy stain in Rouge Enamel. Check out this fantastic catwoman makeup tutorial video by makeup artists Pixiwoo.
