Abbie Cornish is the latest Aussie actress on the hot-block, recently starring in the Hollywood blockbusters Limitless and Sucker Punch. Born in 1982 on the 7th August, Cornish was brought up in New South Wales in Australia, and soon made an impression - taking jobs as a model as young as 13. After early roles on Australian television, her first film break came in 1999 with The Monkey's Mask. Her star is guaranteed to be rising soon with her recent roles, including Sucker Punch where she plays the enigmatic dancer alongside an ensemble cast, and the blockbuster Limitless, where she plays Lindy. Another altogether more historical role she is soon to be seen in is that of Wallis Simpson, in the film W.E., which details Edward VIII and her relationship and his subsequent abdication.
