A popular attraction, especially during the spring time, is the Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens. It is a 240 acre valley with landscaped gardens and seven lakes and offers great scenery, a rock garden, wallabies, deer, and wildfowl. The Horsham Museum, which is housed at the head of one of the most picturesque streets in Sussex, is another interesting place to visit. It is situated inside a medieval timber-framed house, and is made up of 26 galleries and two walled gardens. The galleries on display include arts and crafts, crime and punishment, local trades, saddlery and an exposition examining the life of a Wealden Farmer amongst many others. There are a number of great pubs and bars to go to at night such as The Bear, The Black Jug, The Boar's Head, The Green Dragon, The Station and The Sussex Barn. There are many primary, secondary, and special schools in the district as well. Some of the primary schools are Kingslea Primary School, St. Mary's CofE (Aided) Primary School, and Greenway School. Some of the secondary schools are Millais School, Tanbridge House School, and Farlington School.
