I had my nails done 4 weeks ago, today I went back to have the shellac removed, not one chip on my nails, excellent job, thank you. I will be back twice before the end of the year! Wondeful care taken :)

I did not have a very enjoyable waxing experience at the salon I'm afraid. The upstairs part (where the waxing is done) was dated. The lady waxing me obviously just had a cigarette and a coffee as her breath was unpleasant. She told me she was very experienced having been in the industry since she was young (she was an older lady with a teenage grandchild). Despite that experience she pulled my skin, leaving me bruised under the arms. The bikini part was very bad and very painful (ie: a lot more painful than it should be). She pulled my skin (again!) and I winced. Her reaction was "oh, that must have hurt!". No apologies. Not only did she leave quite a lot of hair (did not use tweezers afterwards), the line was not straight, I had a lot of wax leftover and was bruised. My skin also bled and I had blood in my underwear when I came home. She offered to book my next appointment in 4 weeks time. Needless to say, I declined. This was for waxing only, I can't judge the other treatments. I had brazilian wax done before many times in an excellent salon in Cottenham where Judy, the owner was very good. This was most unpleasant.
