I had a Thai deep tissue massage today and, unfortunately, I’m really disappointed. I went in with a stiff back, but nearly the entire session focused on my calves, and the only time any attention was given to my neck and shoulders was when I specifically asked for it. As a mum of a baby and toddler, I rarely get an hour to myself, and I was really looking forward to being able to relax and switch off. However, the therapist talked throughout the entire session, and I had to listen to her talk about how much she wanted to retire. While she seemed perfectly nice, it wasn’t the peaceful, rejuvenating experience I was hoping for. If the massage had been effective or if I had at least been able to enjoy an hour of quiet, I wouldn’t feel the need to complain. Unfortunately, I left feeling more irritated than relaxed, especially considering the cost of the session. I also tried to send my feedback via the email button on your website, but my message bounced back, so I’m leaving this review here instead. Update - They have just sent me a photo of a sign they have on the wall to say "REFUND CAN NOT BE GIVEN AFTER 10 MINUTES OF YOUR SESSION". They must get a lot of complaints to print a sign and put a 10 minute time frame on it.
