Went to get y nails done at Cariads in Treharris just before my holiday on the 13th of June. The day after on the Saturday I noticed that they werent very good, i.e. there were gaps at the edges and there was no cuticle work done and the thumb nail had started to lift and there was water under the acrylic. I showed a few people and asked my friend who is fully qualified and also qualified to teach people and she said they werent up to scratch. After paying £30 for this service I expected a bit better, I phoned her and told her that they werent very good and she said to go back in. Coz i was going on hols the next day I said it would have to be after. When I got back I called in the salon and showed them my nails and they rebooked me in for the following week so I went back and she did them 2 days ago. Today I had to phone them back and ask her to look at them again as they were lifting. She has since verbally attacked me saying that I am obviously one of those who trawls the salons looking to get stuff done for nothing. She has been in touch with trading standards and they have told her that she doesnt need to redo my nails refund me or offer any other service. She has no customer service skills at all and verbally attacked me because I dared to complain again about the sub standard acrylics. Oh I forgot to mention, she had also banned me from the shop and told me NEVER to set foot in there ever again. Be aware when you go there, she will be the nicest person to you as long as you accept any old tack that she offers you.
