About European Wax Center Paramus
The shop in Paramus is new, so they have been sending out voucher for free or half-price waxes, so I had an half-price brazilian, and my experience was pretty terrible. Also, the waxer didn't even really ask me what I would like, and I am very annoyed with how much she took off in places I wanted to keep, but also left loads of hair where I didn't want it. I've never had a problem with pain during or after waxing either, and this one was pretty painful during and the following day, I still have pain. I also had my legs and eyebrows done, and wasn't asked about shape for the eyebrows either, she just plowed in. With my legs, she would put the wax (again they don't use cloth strips, but just allow the wax to harden and pull from the edge) along the entire length of my leg, rather than going in small areas. Also very painful. I guess because it is a chain, the waxers are also asked to constantly give spiels about the products and try to sell you up to buying wax passes and products. I find this really off-putting. I'm not sure if it is specific to the waxer I had, but I will not be going back here, half price or not.
