Sadly not impressed. Had a voucher for a full head of highlights and cut. He salon itself is extremely dated and screams desperation with home made signs everywhere with desperate offers! Magazines are not young or current, the young girl who greeted me and did my hair looked gaumless, she had no pride in her appearance, no style or class at all. She had minimal personality and made very little effort to strike a conversation. The 2 older ladies seemed very nice and clearly made there older clients feel very welcome and comfortable taking and interest in them. The young trainee again showed little interest in me or showed any personality. The young girl doing my hair after I explained what I was looking for turned to her senior colleague for advice and simply said "I don't no what I'm doing here" giving the impression her colleague I had given her nothing! This made me panick I thought oh god what have I let myself in for. The salon clearly thrives off business from the older generation, but they are not young, modern or current at all, and there was not one glamorous, stylish person in sight. When you go to get your hair done you want to feel pampered and that you'd like to walk out as glamorous as the stylists in the shop, you want a confident stylist who gives you advice on styles based what they believed will work for you. Finally the hair I walked out with colour wise was not what I had actually asked for. It was just a slightly different version of what I came in with. I asked for the hair to be lighter at the ends and darker towards the top but this wasn't achieved, I also asked to be more blonde than I was, which also wasn't achieved and I asked for an ash blonde which I don't particularly have. The cut of fine as it was just a trim. I would not go back to this salon. They need to modernise themselves as a franchise, and get some young people in there with personality, confidence and glamour!
