WORST BARBER WITH HORRIBLE ATTITUDE!! i travelled 5 hours from another city just to visit this barber shop. i was late for less than 1 minute since my train was cancelled and i needed to wait for the next one. i called the barber few minutes before i arrived that i apologised for the inconvenience. when i arrived and tried to enter the shop, the barber held the door and pushed me out without apologising. i understood i was late but it was less than a minute. i even ran from the tube station. yet he said he needed to serve other customers if i was late. Are you kidding me? theres no customer in the shop except me! the barber spoke really poor english and he showed no manner or politeness towards me. my feet got hurt when he slammed the door towards me. guys if you want to experience rude service and bad attitude from a weird japanese barber, please go.

H-YOSHI Hair Salon's review by Helen Tang

My mum, Lillian, recently had her hair cut here, and she couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hairdresser, who I believe is the wife of the owner/ Yoshi, was incredibly professional, skillful, and kind. She listened carefully to exactly what my mum wanted and delivered the haircut perfectly—it was exactly the style my mum had envisioned. My mum’s experience was much more positive than what I’ve seen in some of the reviews online, so I felt it was important to share her perspective.

I recently called to schedule haircuts for both my boys, and unfortunately, the experience was far from professional. The call started off normally, discussing times and availability, until the receptionist asked me, "Any style okay?" I responded, "Yes, just a normal boys' cut." The question felt a bit odd, but I was standing outside on a busy street, and my wife reminded me to confirm that Yoshi, the male barber, would be cutting their hair. When I asked if Yoshi would be cutting both my boys' hair, the receptionist's tone shifted abruptly. She responded with attitude, saying, "I asked if any stylist was okay!" I explained that I hadn’t heard her properly and thought there was a misunderstanding, but instead of being understanding, she insisted, "No, I clearly asked you." She then proceeded to condescendingly ask, "So, is this time okay with Yoshi? Do you understand me now?" emphasizing each word as if I had a language barrier, which was extremely insulting. I went ahead and confirmed the appointment, but after the call, I told my wife how rude and unprofessional the receptionist had been. We decided that we wouldn't be taking our boys there or giving our business to someone who clearly lacks basic courtesy and respect. My wife insisted to go with a Japanese person since they have a better understanding of Asian hair, but honestly I don’t care what race you are, if you don’t treat other people with respect then you shouldn’t be in business period. So, If you're looking for a respectful and professional experience, this is not the place. There are plenty of other reviews that echo this sentiment – I should have listened
