I had an appointment with Ozzy. He advised me the appointment would consist of colour correction and a reverse balayage. At the beginning of the appointment, I spoke through my hair journey with Ozzy and specified I wanted to bring my natural root colour down, and to go a more natural colour, specially saying I did not want to be dark.I showed a specific photo of what I wanted . He didn't look at the photo long, nor did he take much time looking at my hair or consulting me on what he was going to do - he just advised he was going to do some foils and then put a colour on the rest of my hair. I trusted that he knew what he was doing. I didn't feel great from the beginning, as Ozzy did little to make me feel welcome and comfortable. He proceeded to do some foils and then put colour on the rest of my hair - whilst doing so, dye went onto my forehead and ears and felt there was little care when applying the colour. He then advised he'd leave this colour on and come back. He then left and returned smelling of smoke - I have nothing against smoking at all but do feel its unprofessional to come back stinking of cigerettes when you're so close to your clients. I was surprised that not once did he come over in the process of my foils/colour being in, to check. The end result of this is me being dark brunette, with slightly lighter ends. When I bought this up at the end of the appointment, I was most disappointed by the lack of acknowledgement and blatant gaslighting from both Ozzy and another colleague. - After seeking further opinion and looking myself what a 'reverse balayage' is - Ozzy didn't do this at all. He has left some light bits in my hair and chucked an all over color on, this is honestly something I could do myself at home. And he wanted to charge me £300+ for this. - He tried to tell me that because my hair is thin, it turned out different. As a professional stylist/colourist, you should be capable of working with all hair types and adjusting your methods to ensure the desired colours work on different types and textures. Not blaming the client for the type of hair they have. - Ozzy tried to tell me my hair wasn't that dark and that I just needed to wash it a few times for it to be my desired colour. I shouldn't be paying to have to wash my hair to get my desired colour. The gaslighting between him and another collegue he called over was so horrible to experience, trying to treat me like I had no idea about hair, and that no mistake whatsoever had happened, when it was extremely clear what had happened. - When I expressed I would not be paying what he was asking, he said he would put a toner on to try make it better. However, by this point I was so upset about the situation and also felt very uncomfortable, I did not want to stay in the salon and trust. If your hairdresser messes up your hair, and then doesn't act nicely or acknowledge their mistake afterwards, why on earth would any client want to stay. I understand that all hair takes differently to colour etc and I was never going to get the exact result of the photo I'd shown (and I said this to Ozzy) - but the reality is, this was a very poor attempt at colouring hair, there was no thought or care put into and it wasn't even close to the colour I wanted it. Ozzy got to walk away with £250 from me (which I shouldn't have paid) but felt so uncomfortable being there I paid - and I left with my hair ruined, financially worse of (as well as needing to get this rectified). That is a significant amount of money, more than most people make in one day so when paying that amount, a stylist should put all their effort and care into giving you a great experience & result. Another poor practice is that there was no patch test/consultation prior to the appointment, also for Ozzy to claim this would need a colour correction and reverse balayge, he didn’t do this. I'm sure the salon/Ozzy will come back with something to defend what happened. But I have been 100% honest here. Honestly I have had such bad experiences with hairdressers as a mixed race person they just never got what I wanted to achieve. Nico listened was honest with what I could do with my hair and for the 1st time ever I walked out of a salon happy. No delighted!! Can not recommend enough. I have thick curly hair but it did not faze him he worked through my tangle of curls and gave me the best natural colour. I will definitely return. OZZY HAIR ON INSTAGRAM I WILL BE BACK

I went today to this salon, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Hairmett did an incredible job bringing my hair back to a beautiful, rich dark color and gave me the perfect cut. The service was amazing; the team was so welcoming and made me feel right at home. They even let me play my Albanian playlist , so I felt like a DJ! Hairmett was absolutely lovely and so skilled. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend! Linda xx
