I have been receiving regular Dermalogica facials and Gel manicures(Shellac) at this salon for the past 2 years now and would not go anywhere else. The staff are exceptionally knowledgable and the facials they carry out are tailored for my needs differently everytime I visit, incorporating the use of electrical facial equipment which I had never experienced until I had my facials at Julie Gambles.The Gel manicures I have are also fantastic and last a great 3 weeks!!I have never had any problems with the gel nails as all of the therapists carry out a thorough preperation of the nails even if you don't have the full manicure. I have never been to any other salon where all of the therapists are so pleasant and professional, even if i were to move out of the area I would definately still travel to have my treatments carried out at Julie Gambles.

I have been visiting this salon for over 10 years an wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff are always very attentive and proffessional. Over these years I have had many different treatments and if my regular beautician is unavailable (as she is now on maternity leave) I know I will be looked after just as well by the other girls untill she comes back. If I ever had any problems I would feel 100% confident to speak to Julie or any of the girls to resolve it. After all if they don't know what the problem they cant do anything about it?

I am a therapist myself, and whilst this salon was ok, I would not recommend or return. I had a shellac manicure and pedicure and some waxing. the waxing was very very painful, more so than it should have been and rollers were used, which was very dirty. the girl i saw looked very disinterested throughout the treatment and looked to be straight from school. the shellac peeled within two days!! it is supposed to last over a week at least.
