Kids Love Ink's review by Nicholas Newman
I got in touch with Kids Love Ink as they were local to where I lived. I made the right choice- the whole experience was fantastic. They are friendly and unpretentious but know their stuff and are passionate about their trade. I met Don initially and decided to book him after a brief chat explaining what I wanted. I had three tattoos in total and I’m incredibly happy with how all three turned out. Don did a brilliant job and really understood the vibe I wanted. I intend to have more done in the next few months and Don is my man for them! I’ve already recommended him to people!!

Kids love ink is my favourite place to get tattooed! The environment is great and everyone is so welcoming. Tasha has done two matching tattoos for my brother and I now and they have healed wonderfully! She listens to all our ideas and always makes us feel comfortable :)

Kids Love Ink's review by Eddie Rubio
Extremely Poor Customer Service!!! I primarily interacted with the artist, Marcus, so this review is mostly for him, although the establishment hired him, so it reflects on them as well. In September, I visited to get a tattoo of my dogs after communicating back and forth over email. The first red flag was the delay in getting sketches before the tattoo session. Despite agreeing to see a complete sketch once I paid my deposit, I only received outlines a few days before the session. Even on the day of the tattoo, I still only got outlines. I take responsibility for not pushing harder and still went ahead with the tattoo. I’m 80% happy with the tattoo. He said he could make some modifications afterwards, but it would need to heal first. I even tipped him £50, hoping it would ensure future responsiveness. I was wrong. After several emails asking to schedule time to discuss any changes, I received no reply. After 3 weeks, I had to visit in person and get one of his colleagues to tell him to respond to my emails. When I finally met with him, I showed him what I would like changed, and he lead me to believe that he could make those modifications, and that it would require about an hour of additional work. We agreed to look for time in the new year to make the changes. In January, I followed up with pictures to help guide the changes, but what was initially a modification was suddenly considered an alteration requiring more time. You can imagine how disappointing this was since we had already discussed the changes in person after showing him the healed tattoo. He offered minor adjustments instead, and promised to send a sketch of the modified piece. After two follow-up emails, I’ve received no response in over four weeks. Responsiveness to a customer’s inquiries and needs is crucial. While I can’t speak for the other artists, I strongly suggest thinking twice before working with Marcus. At the very least, be aware that once you leave, you likely won’t receive much service.
