I joined this gym when it first opened around a decade ago and it was everything it was advertised to be — clean, luxurious, quiet and with benefits like free towels. Now, it feels like the care is not there so much. I was a member for a year this time around and in that time, showers were always dirty, lights were flickering constantly, sauna always busy and often things like paper towels were missing. Sure, it’s not as expensive as true premium gyms but in this area, one would expect more. There is a good variety of equipment but in busy times, you may have to wait as areas get cramped.

I'm a fairly new member, and so far, I'm happy with my choice. Obviously, it's more pricey than high street chain gyms, but for me, it's worth it. The place is clean, staff are friendly and competent, the gym is well equipped and doesn't get too packed, lots of classes available and it's nice to have the sauna & steam as an option. It's only £5 to bring a guest and they can enjoy all the facilities. I get a monthly massage with my membership and it's something I look forward to each month. I've tried a few different therapists and just had my best massage so far with Donelle. It was amazing! She was very thorough and clearly knew what she was doing and I felt soooo good afterwards. All in all, I would recommend this place.
