I felt I had to get on line and tell the world, or at least everybody that reads this review, what a superb time my friend and I had at New Id make over studios. I had never had a make over before, so I had no idea what to expect, Shelly had so she gave me the run down on what to take, we took four outfits to be photographed in and had a bit of a practice run the night before with our cameras! The day arrived and we were welcomed by some seriously friendly and enthusiastic receptionists who really got us in the mood for our experience and ran through the days schedule with us an what I particularly liked was the time they took to find out what kind of look we wanted to achieve rather than just doing their own thing, which was the bit that bothered me the most, I have always been camera shy and looking a way I was not used to was not going to get me to perform for the camera. So with this in mind I felt comfortable from the get go which was brilliant. Once we had filled out all of the forms we got our hair done, I had only just had mine cut so took the opportunity to have it put up in a French pleat and it looked amazing. Shelly had a really nice cut and blow dry and we were both very impressed with the stylist who made us both feel a million dollars. Make up was great too, we both went for a more dramatic look than we normally do ourselves but it was great for the photographs. I didn’t feel nervous at all going into the photo shoot but I think that had quite a lot to do with the free bucks fizz we took a little bit too much advantage of, but in all honestly it had a lot to do with the team of people that work there and make such a great atmosphere its hard to feel anything other than relaxed and confident and Shelly and I really got into the swing of things and the guy took some terrific shots of us, we both really wished we could have afforded more of the photos, but we didn’t realize quite how expensive they were. Having said that all of the shots were fabulous and really high quality and well worth the money.We both had a wonderful time and will both be going again, this time armed with enough cash to buy all the pictures! I would like to thank all of the team at New ID for making a special day extra special.
