I’m writing this review to share my disappointing experience with [Salon Name] in the hope that it helps others avoid a similar situation. I initially paid £700 upfront for a set of treatments, based on a clear agreement about the services and discounts I would receive. However, after making full payment, I was unexpectedly told that I owed an additional £35 for an LPG suite — a charge that was never explained to me at the time of booking or payment. On top of that, the salon had offered me a complimentary LPG facial session, which I hadn’t requested but accepted as a kind gesture. Unfortunately, after my first session, their staff refused to honor this offer and demanded £45 for the same treatment in a very unprofessional and unpleasant manner. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was met with poor communication and a lack of accountability. To make matters worse, I later received a message stating that my future appointments would be canceled unless I paid the unexpected £35 fee — despite already paying a significant amount upfront. I’m extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. Clear communication and professional conduct are crucial in customer service, and sadly, this experience fell far short of that standard. I’m sharing this to encourage others to ask detailed questions about pricing and policies before committing to services here. I hope the salon takes steps to improve their communication and customer care to prevent others from facing similar frustration Thank you for your response. I wish I could give them more stars. I saw Emy and she was fantastic. Upon walk in I was greeted by a kind receptionist and filled up the form. Emy came upstairs and waited for me to fill up the form and finally brought me downstairs. The place was spotless and clean and the room was a nice temperature. I came here initially for cryolipolysis but I when speaking with Emy she advised me the best possible treatment rather than cryolipolysis. Her knowledge was outstanding and she still adhered to the price that I initially paid for. I thought I knew what I knew thus wanted to have that particular treatment and as being a guy myself I would recommend the LPG massage anyday however, still leave to Emy what she thinks is best for you. I was given a suit to use (something that you pay a hamrless price for and keep for whenever you have an LPG massage, even if you decide to go elsewhere) The LPG massage itself is not painful although you may bruise afterwards due to the strong suction (think liposuction but noninvasive by using a handheld roller machine). The pain is very tolerable and even better when you know that the treatment is doing you justice. All the other aftercare Emy explained thoroughly and boy was I thirsty! I recommend giving this place a go. It's such a nice place with probably the best people to talk and feel comfortable with. Thank you Emy at Shape zone. You are the best. And to the receptionist, you are very sweet and a great person to talk with. Hope to be back there again soon
