Unsanitary, unprofessional, unsafe! I received a voucher as a gift for waxing at Singhar Salon on Oxford Street. I arrived at my appointment to find the entire salon under construction with workers scattered about, saw dust and fumes polluting the air and machinery all over the place (i was not informed of this at the time of scheduling). I was shocked but thought I was already there so will go ahead with the appointment because there is no way the treatment room is in this condition. It was worse. After climbing up stairs and over a power saw in the middle of the staircase, squeezing by leering construction workers. I arrived at the room that had scaffolding out, fumes in the air, dust covering the services which does not reflect well on the sanitary nature of the room. The waxist would not leave the room to give me privacy to change after I asked explicitly but instead turned her back; she did not have a towel so I could cover myself. The wax was not hot enough and the waxist did not pull the skin taut so instead of a basic wax i instead left with bruising due to popped blood vessels. Painful and unprofessional! If that was not bad enough she opened the door to the room while I was still dressing and a construction worker was right there. To top it all off, I had an asthma attack due to the air pollution. Avoid this service even if you have a voucher.

This review is for their Oxford street branch. Totally awful wax - was very painful and left uneven. Do not go! Even if you have bought an offer I'd advise you to just take a loss rather than go through the experience I did. I have had lots of waxes before but nothing like this - shoddy, totally awful.
