I visited Spaland for the first time on Saturday morning where I had a manicure and pedicure. The staff were lovely and provided me with a cup of water when i had a coughing fit! Really delighted with the results! My nails are the best shape ever and I am feeling ready for spring. I would happily recommend this spa.

The 90 minutes Japanese Head spa is by far the best spa experience I’ve ever had (outside of Thailand). My therapist was so kind and helpful, beside being incredible at her job. I see lots of happy returns in my future. Thank you for the incredible time!

Spaland London's review by Scarlett Graham

I had a pedicure here in January. During the pedicure the nail technician accidentally over-clipped one of my nails. I remember crying out in pain and asking them to stop. The rest of the session was uneventful and by the end my nails looks nice, so I paid and left. After a couple of days I noticed my toe felt a bit sore, but didn’t think too much of it. After a few more days, the pain was starting to get worse and I noticed some redness and swelling. After soaking my foot following advice on the NHS website, pus started coming out of the corner of my nail, indicating an infection. Mistakes happen. But the reason I’m leaving a 1 star review was the salon’s response when I contacted them. They initially tried to suggest I had somehow done this to myself by wearing shoes that were too tight; and later offered to fix it for me if I returned to the salon. I explained that the medical advice was NOT to touch the toe or further clip it in any way - but they flatly refused to consider anything else, including the refund I suggested would be more than appropriate. After some back and forth, they suddenly declared I needed to fill out some paperwork explaining the issue (despite, by this point, having provided photo evidence and a details account via email of what had happened after my appointment), and that there would be a review with their insurance - but that all this would only be possible after I’d revisited the salon. I would have expected a salon like this to be mortified at having hurt one of its customers, and to have shown a decent amount of goodwill in making things right. But instead I just got excuses and delay tactics. I’ll never come here again, and would strongly recommend people be careful about visiting.
